Our Junior group continues to focus on technique development, furthering proficiency in all four strokes, and race strategy. Greater intent on conditioning and training capacity to allow swimmers to explore new events. Another area of emphasis will be placed on ensuring that swimmers receive instruction in proper stroke mechanics.

Senior Group - 13 & Older

Senior group is the top group at BHA. These swimmers demonstrate a strong commitment to the sport of swimming. SeniorGroup will teach swimmers the value of competition and self-improvement to improve times, excel in high school swimming, and pursue collegiate swimming. The importance of hard work, team unity, and accountability is reinforced daily in the Senior group.

Goals of the Senior program are to advance the swimmer’s skills in flexibility, coordination, goal setting, mental training, and race strategy. Additional goals are to increase general endurance and swim-specific endurance, general strength and swim-specific strength, and to enhance their knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and nutrition.

An emphasis will be placed on performance as well as resilience and confidence building.
